Title: Removing sold fabrics and general tidying - oh, and there's a sale!
Today I aim to remove some more sold fabric from the website and continue to tidy the site up in general. We're thinking of adding in a VIP page - but we're still at the thinking stage!
Sale on fabric in etsy store for Aussie buyers only...finishes tomorrow at midday...great prices, free postage - so, if you've been debating whether to buy some stuff, now is the time to do it...

Title: Sewing patterns galore!
As the clock ticks down to the arrival of our new bundle I have (strangely) felt it relaxing to get out our collection of vintage sewing patterns, count each and every piece in each pack and start to list them on ebay. You would think I have my feet up...but nooooo, here she is still working away...
Visit us on ebay - our link is on the front page of the website (the left hand nav bar link is cactus at the moment for some reason!)...
New fabrics uploaded soon :) And our Inspiration Swatch Packs are waiting, waiting to go up...just need that time!
Oh - and if we don't answer your email for a day or two, you know why...!! I might just be taken up with a little extra work for a bit, but then we'll be back onto it...

Title: 170+ vintage fabrics for sale!
Hello all
I've just finished putting some more fabrics up - some little Liberty of London samplers from a sample book and some very pretty 50's through to 70's pieces. That puts the website at over 170 fabrics at the moment, so we're getting there!
It's just the tip of the iceberg, though...so stay in touch and visit us when you can.

Title: Oh joy - some free time again!
Hello all
As some of you know, we have been busily finishing our 20 or so Inspiration Swatch Packs for the lovely Meet Me at Mike's store in Melbourne - they're in Bridge Rd, Richmond and the newie is set to open soon on Brunswick St, Fitzroy. Excitement plus!
Well I can now say the packs have been shipped off today and we are now back to focusing on our website and general fabric booking in etc etc...
So, more fabric shall be up soon! And that includes some gorgeous Inspiration Swatch Packs for those of you who don't live in Melbourne...

Retro Age Vintage Fabrics

Title: More fabrics added to the website tonight...
We've decided to upload lots of our ebay store fabric as it's just easier doing it that way - we have the photos etc, so we can get them up in no time. We're also going to get some of our collectable fabrics up this week - fingers and toes crossed! That way new buyers will get a better indication of the types of fabrics we sell...
We've also been busily working on new Stash, Swatch and Inspiration Packs - we're sending a collection to Meet Me At Mikes in Melbourne for stocking, so that's some good news for Melbourne-ites! The packs have lots of lovely fabrics...there are a couple of lovelies, including an entire alphabet featuring retro 70's illustrations...just soooo cute and great for design reference. If I teach myself how to get photos into this blog I'll put some picks up for you...but, if you're not in Melbourne, we're putting a couple of packs for sale on the website, anyway...

Title: Fabrics, website - and some personal favourites...
Hello all
I am slowly getting there - working on the website, our stock for Melbourne and getting new arrivals booked in etc...well, it's taking up some time!
I've added in some lovely old ticking this evening - four different colours and vintage 50's...in fact, the pieces we have are complete selvedge to selvedge and were remainders on bolts. Would have made super kitsch mattresses!
I've also added in some 'personal favourites' - some vintage 70's ladies face fabric that is just intoxicating! They're in the 70's category in half yards...
New look website coming soon - well, it won't look that much different, but it'll make it easier to see all of the fabrics!
